My room had complimentary snacks, i found that quite nice. the breakfast offered a wide choice, more than i usually expect. the grounds were extensive. The views were relaxing.
the room doors were a bit hard to open, a small inconvenience.

the reception staff were friendly and helpful. i booked the breakfast and dinner package for two nights and tempus restaurant had a varied and plentiful selection. the superior double room had modern decor, and i found the bed very comfortable.

the grounds have a lovely swimming pool. the dinner and breakfast menus had good selections and prices. i liked the quiet location and the fans in the bedroom.
i found the room to be very "travelodgeesque", not what i expected from a 4-star hotel! the bed was two singles pushed together and quite uncomfortable. the distance from the facilities to my room was too far.

The breakfast quality was good. The room was clean and spacious enough. It looked like it had been renovated recently. Great facilities exist as you can book onto instructor-led gym classes.
The bathroom had visible dirt on the toilet seat. I saw hair in the bath. Mould grew on the silicon and grouting. The towels and bathmat had clearly been used and refolded.

the reception staff were friendly. they were also informed. the superior double room was clean. the bed was comfortable.
our main problem was the noisy bedroom doors. they always slam shut. i was woken by slamming doors. this happened late at night and early morning.
